Torey Hughes, Owner of MRC
Torey, from a young age, wanted to run his own business. His parents themselves, own a real estate company in Fort Wayne, Indiana. For most of his life he had been working odd jobs and projects anywhere from house flipping to remodeling commercial spaces. Currently he is living his dream and running a family-owned construction company. His goals are still the same though. He wants to work hard, strive to be the best, and give his customers the best possible service he can provide.

After Torey worked for over a decade in the remodeling industry, his wife, Lishbeth, strongly encouraged him to consider establishing his own company. Even though it was scary and incredibly hard, she believed they could do it together.Â
So after two years of talking about this idea, seeking counsel, and getting training, they decided to step out. They started Mandolin Rising Construction Company in 2020 and haven't looked back since.
